Shane is AWESOME! As a long time veteran in the real estate arena he was helpful far beyond the buying process. He got me started well before looking at homes, educating me, as a first time buyer, on all my different loan options and potential buys; fixer upper vs. turn key. I decided to go with a fixer upper, and as Shane flips properties, he was able to offer invaluable advice when looking at various properties. Once I property was [FINALLY] selected, and the buying process began, Shane was my biggest advocate for forward process. He was always available to contact and never left my questions hanging. He put in work far beyond what I expected from a realtor, bridging the communication gaps between all parties involved and always looking out for my best interest. I ended up purchasing a pretty significant fixer upper, and utilizing the 203k loan–I’ll be the first to say, maybe not optimal for a first time home buyer, but with Shane’s knowledge and guidance, I’m going to have the EXACT home I wanted from the get go. I can’t imagine what the process would have been like without him on my side. So very thankful to have Shane’s services and support. I can’t say enough good things about him! THANKS SO MUCH SHANE!

Shane knows his market(s) therefore valuations, peoples tendency’s and needs, real estate & contract law, and marketing, which made him an excellent choice to advise us on listing and selling our home. He kept the parties in line, marketed the house to the full extent needed to get a sale, and gave us good advice on the right pricing. We prepared the house effectively and were prepared for the arduous process of selling a home because of his insight. He also helped us find a new home very efficiently. We would highly recommend Shane for the purchase or sale of a home or investment property.

Shane assisted us first in our acquisition of a residential property for investment. He was instrumental in helping us close a complex deal. Shane stayed very involved as we started the rehab phase of the project and remained accessible throughout our “extreme make-over.” When it was time to put the house back on the market, we turned to Shane as our sales agent.
Shane was diligent in getting the house listed, facilitated getting photos, established a website for house and coordinated open-houses and all other showings. His counsel on property value and how to present the property for maximum affect was spot-on. His follow-up with buyer agents, negotiations with interested buyers and keeping us informed was timely and thorough. The handling of the final transaction was all handled electronically and could not have been easier.
We would heartedly recommend Shane to anyone looking for professional, informed and honest representation in a real estate transaction. Respectfully, Posy and Steve Pettigrew, Nick’s Magnet LLC

Shane recently assisted my husband and I with the sale of our home and the purchase of a new home. He was always available to show us homes we wanted to see and kept us informed during all steps in the buying and selling process. His biggest challenge was arranging for both homes to close on the same day so that we would be able to move from one to the other without interruption. Shane pulled this off seamlessly. We signed paperwork in the morning, went and took a quick nap, and moved into the new home that afternoon. Great experience!

Shane was knowledgeable every step of the way. He was realistic and optimistic when it came to negotiating. I asked that we list at a higher price, he agreed to list it at the price I thought but told me that he did not think it would get many hits at that list price. With time agreed to drop it and it ended up selling exactly where he originally told me it would…wish i would have listened to him in the beginning! He was available for all my questions with in minutes. I would highly recommend him!

Shane was so helpful in our house buying and selling experience. He took the time to meet with us and go over the selling process and gave us a good understanding on the market. We went out on a limb to look at houses and decided to buy and sell overnight. He gave us advice on how to present our home for showings and kept us informed the entire time. Our house sold fast and was pretty worry free! He has followed up with us after the move to make sure everything is going smoothly. We really appreciate all his help! We would and will recommend Shane to anyone who is in the market of buying a house!

Shane went above and beyond as my realtor. I live on the West side and was looking for property on the East side. After we looked at several properties together, he developed a very good understanding of what I was looking for. On several occasions, he had a property he thought I should see, but because of timing, work schedule or other reasons, I would be unable to make the trip. Shane went to the property, videotaped it for me and then posted it on YouTube so I could look at it in a timely manner and decide if I wanted to put an offer on the property. Shane was very professional in all of our dealings and I have no reservations about highly recommending him to anyone looking for a “crackerjack” realtor!!! He is outstanding, ethical and the best realtor I have ever worked with!!!

Shane helped me buy my first home using my VA loan. He patiently walked me through the entire process (several times). This was a short sale home and he was proactive in the process by calling for updates without me having to press for information. If there was a question he didn’t have an immediate answer, he found the answer and got back to me quickly. Just by knowing he’s on your side, it makes the itimidating process of buying a home very comfortable. Two thumbs up!

Shane worked to find the right home for my family meeting everyones needs, then once the house was located he negotiated the sale price and made it affordible for my family to make the purchase. Shane helped with everything including the financing, and making sure the process continued on in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using Shane Cook to other family and freinds, knowing that he has help a few freinds and family already select, negotiate, and secure new homes and sell their old ones. Shane is fast paced with worked well for my lifestyle, I deal with salesman everyday, Shane is not the typical. He gets to the point and honestly evaluates the home before wasting he wasted my time looking at something that was not up to or fit our needs explicitly.

We were in a situation where we had just lost our home and Shane Cook was the realator we dealt with to help us find another home to move into withinn a very short amount of time and needless to say the stress level of the situation was high. Shane was extremely helpful in finding homes within our price range as well as making it possible for us to pick out homes we thought we mght be interested in ourselves. Shane was very professional and had excellent time management skills, especially when it came to pointing out difficulties with properties that might cause problems for us! Shane was immediately available to us as all times and answered any questions or concerns for us in a very timely manner. Shane made sure that we got to look at the homes we wanted to see and but also made sure that our time was not wasted on homes that might not work out for us or had problems that we did not know about. We are very happy with the home that Shane helped us to find. Shane is a top-notch professional with integrity and a person in my experience who will go above and beyond the call of duty to help you find the home you are looking for, a home that you can feel safe and happy in.

I have had the opportunity to work with Shane on the Board of Directors and the Building Task Force. Shane’s commitment to SEVRAR is clear by his service rendered and especially the job performed. He has a vision for where SEVRAR should be headed and will help get us all there! We will be in great hands with leaders like Shane Cook!

As I look at the election this year as a member of SEVRAR and the candidates that we have running for office; I always try and consider who might best serve our members given the challenges facing our business and industry today.
My purpose in starting the SEVRAR Leadership program with the support of the Board years ago was to try and get more members involved and to provide a complete overview of the many facets of our business that we too often ignore. This includes, ARMLS, ADRE, AAR and Political action all the while with a goal of increasing professionalism through our member ranks. I am proud to say that many current members of our board and committees have graduated from SEVRAR leadership in the past several years and I am humbled by all of their contributions.
Shane Cook is running for the position of Vice-President this year; he has the background and experience to assist in leading our organization. One key aspect of his background is his knowledge of commercial transactions which will serve us well as we move forward with our new building and those related challenges. His background is very similar to my own as I began my career with a business background and was first involved with SEVRAR at the Community service level and helping folks and our community.
I ask each of you to consider support of Shane for this position based on his background and involvement. I encourage every member of SEVRAR to vote this year is the upcoming elections and please vote for Shane for Vice-President.
Benjamin Andrus
I have had the opportunity to work with Shane on a variety of levels in the last few years; mutually with real estate clients and also when leading other members of our industry in a volunteer capacity. Shane is already a prominent figure in Phoenix real estate thanks to his young energy, great attitude and commitment to ‘raising the bar’ in every aspect of the business. I strongly support Shane Cook as a prospective Vice President candidate of SEVRAR and will always support him in every way I can.
Heidi Quigley-Larke
It is with great enthusiasm I endorse Shane Cook for the 2017 SEVRAR Vice President’s position!
I have known Shane for several years. Shane and I worked together at United Brokers Group and he has been a valued member of the SEVRAR Board of Directors for the last three years. But, Shane has done so much more than being a dedicated Board member. Here are but a few of his contributions to the members of SEVRAR: Shane has been a driving force in raising money for the Critical Needs fund, which provides desperately needed resources to SEVRAR members when they are faced with illness or tragedy. There has been a heavy demand on the Critical Needs Fund and Shane has taken it upon himself over the last few years to do all he can to ensure the fund is replenished by selling bracelets $5.00 at a time.
Shane has also devoted countless hours to the Building Task Force, which was charged with finding the new location for SEVRAR. This was an enormous endeavor! The process took more than 2 years. Shane gave his time and expert knowledge to ensure that the SEVRAR members would have the very best home possible.
In addition, Shane is a RAPAC Major Investor, a graduate of the SEVRAR Leadership Program, he served as the Chair of YPN, as well as having served on many other SEVRAR committees. Shane has also been a tireless volunteer for countless SEVRAR events. He has made the SEVRAR members a priority in his life.
Finally, Shane is a dedicated REALTOR, who understands the day-to-day challenges of REALTORS in the marketplace. It is my belief that Shane will serve the members exceedingly well as your 2017 Vice President.
I urge you to join me in voting for Shane Cook!
Pamela Frestedt
A vote for Shane is a vote for you! I have had the honor of working with Shane on the New building Task Force, the SEVRAR Board of Directors, and as the Committee Chair of YPN, while I served as the President of SEVRAR. He is a forward thinking individual and emphasizes the wants and needs of the SEVRAR member first in all of his decisions in order to make this association one of the best in the Nation. I respect Shane’s business expertise, REALTOR ethics and most importantly his family values! I hope that is long enough for you and not too long – it is hard to put into a couple sentences how wonderful you are as a leader – feel free to edit or ask me to redo with other emphasis’ I will do that for you.

I have known Shane for the past five years, both as a friend and in his capacity as a Realtor.
As a Real Estate Broker I have observed Shane interacting with other Real Estate professionals and other business people and one thing I have observed is that everyone greets Shane with a smile. That is because he always has a smile on his face and when he meets you he makes you feel as if you are the most important person at that moment. He is empathetic to what you are saying, looks at you when he speaks to you and is an all around honest and nice person.
As a friend I feel that if there is any time I need help I can always count on Shane. He would be there in a heartbeat to do anything within his power to help you with whatever your problems were. He is a kind spirit and a gentle man.
I have absolutely no hesitation in endorsing Shane Cook and supporting him completely as he reaches for higher goals and new experiences. Shane volunteers so much of his time to others, he would be a wonderful asset to any organization.

Shane Cook is highly qualified to lead our SEVRAR members into the future as VP. He demonstrates his fearless leadership time and time again no matter what the circumstances while encouraging others to step up, often by the examples he himself has set. His numerous accomplishments speak volumes as he has proven his effectiveness in many aspects of our industry. His determination and resolve position him well to further the goals of SEVRAR with integrity and transparency.

I am very proud to have served with Shane on the SEVRAR Board of Directors in 2015 and as his YPN Co-Chair in 2014. Shane has demonstrated great leadership in the time that we have served together. He sets the tone for upcoming leadership and his accomplishments in the industry raise the bar for all of us. Shane is highly qualified to lead SEVRAR members as the next VP and has my strong recommendation.
Marci Slater
I first met Shane in the 2012 SEVRAR leadership group, where I gained an immense respect for his passion, honesty, intelligence, reliability, experience & pursuit of excellence in all aspects of his profession. He especially showed great skills at team work! Impressed with his desire and consistency of giving generously of his time, he serves on several local committees, including the SEVRAR building task force, as a member & past chair of the YPN organization, and as a SEVRAR and AAR Director.
He supports his community through many outreach programs including the lock box program for seniors, veterans parade, RAPAC, St. Mary’s Food Bank, etc. But I most admire Shane for his creative problem solving skills and ability to think “outside of the box” and “into the future”. When in a room with him you feel your ideas are heard, understood & carefully considered. Shane expertly uses all of these qualities & talents to create a wonderful balance within his own business, the real estate industry and his personal life. Shane has served as a leader in several ways, on committees and many different forums. I believe he will take SEVRAR to new & higher ground. With proud enthusiasm, I endorse Shane as SEVRAR’s 2017 Vice President.
