In any community there are those people and organizations that work very hard to help those who need it. Saving One Life is such a group; working in the east valley to save cats and kittens. This is a 100% no kill rescue group who ranges throughout the Phoenix metro area and sometimes even further afield to save at risk, surrendered, feral and abandoned felines. In addition Saving One Life provides education regarding the responsibilities of cat ownership and the value of spaying/neutering as well as regular medical visits.
Saving One Life is made up entirely of volunteers who retrieve their charges from the local shelters, foster them as long as needed and provide medical attention if required. Before releasing the cats for adoption they are given vaccines, de-wormed, micro chipped, spayed/neutered and given behavioral assessment. Partnered with Petsmart locations in the southeast valley area; together they are hoping to find forever homes for these cats and kittens.
Saving One Life is always looking for additional volunteers as fosters, adoption center assistance, supplies and financial assistance. So if you have been looking for a charitable organization to give your time, an extra room that could be a puuurrfect space for a foster, supplies or monies; I would strongly recommend this one!
